18th Annual Energy Projects Conference

The Energy and Infrastructure Projects Group hosted its 18th Annual Energy Projects Conference, in the Washington, D.C. office on May 20. The event focused on the latest challenges the electric power and renewable energy industry faces related to project development, financing and tax, and included various panel discussions moderated by Skadden partners. Panels included “Electric Power Industry Update," "YieldCos and Beyond," "Update on DOE Loan Guarantee Programs," "Opportunities in Acquisitions and Diversity," "Tax Legislative Update," "Federal Energy Update," "International Renewable Energy Development," "Environmental Update" and "Distributed Generation Financing." Guest speakers included representatives from Arclight Capital Partners LLC, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Citigroup Global Markets, Energy Capital Partners, Energy Investors Funds, the Export-Import Bank of the United States, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, First Reserve Corporation, General Electric Company, KeyBanc Capital Markets, the International Finance Corporation, NextEra Energy Resources, the Overseas Private Investment Corporation, Pattern Energy Group LP, RBC Capital Markets, Santander Global Banking & Markets, Santander Investment Securities, SolarReserve LLC, SunEdison, UBS Investment Bank and the U.S. Department of Defense.
