Timothy G. Nelson Amanda Raymond Kalantirsky

On September 22, Skadden and the Commercial Litigators' Forum presented "Motorola Credit Corp. v. Standard Chartered Bank — The Amici Speak!" At the event, counsel for amici in the case pending before the New York Court of Appeals presented a mock oral argument on the question before the court: Does New York's separate entity rule preclude a judgment creditor from ordering a garnishee bank operating branches in New York to restrain a debtor’s assets held in foreign branches of the bank? Skadden associate Amanda Raymond Kalantirsky moderated a presentation by Skadden partner Timothy Nelson, White & Case partner Dwight Healy and Davis Polk counsel James Kerr.
