On October 28, Skadden's New York office presented a seminar on "Cross-Border Government Enforcement Global Investigations in 2014." The event focused on how government enforcement efforts continue to produce major investigations and charges relating to the global financial crisis, market abuse, the FCPA, economic sanctions, tax evasion and cartels. Discussions centered on the current environment and key components of global investigations, including types of cases investigated globally, coordination among regulators worldwide, challenges raised by dual criminal and civil enforcement, and global resolutions.
