New York government enforcement and white collar crime head David Meister spoke at the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association Compliance & Legal Society 2014 New York Regional Seminar, held October 2. Mr. Meister participated in a panel discussion on enforcement issues, addressing such topics as expansion of penalties, individual accountability, judicial review of settlements, recent enforcement actions, and cross-border enforcement proceedings.
