On December 11, New York patent litigation partner Douglas Nemec spoke at the Silicon Valley Advanced Patent Law Institute, a CLE program hosted by UC Berkeley School of Law and Stanford Law School. Mr. Nemec's talk addressed impending changes to the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure that will alter the circumstances under which sanctions may be leveled for loss of electronically stored information in litigation.
