Palo Alto litigation partner Jack DiCanio spoke on a panel titled "Electronic Communications and Data Discovery in Criminal Cases: The Bits & Bytes Required to Satisfy the Interests of Justice" at the American Bar Association Criminal Justice Section's Southeastern White Collar Crime Institute September 10-11. Mr. DiCanio's panel focused on electronic evidence in criminal cases, including the limits to searching for electronic evidence, constitutional and federal procedural challenges, and how extensive amounts of data can be efficiently processed and handled by government and defense lawyers.
