Skadden held its 20th annual Energy Projects Conference on May 10 in New York, focusing on current opportunities in energy projects. Topics included energy project M&A, financing merchant gas-fired plants, international energy policy, energy markets, tax equity financing for renewable energy projects, and international markets. Skadden speakers included partners David Armstrong, Lance Brasher, Julia Czarniak, Ann Hawkins, Paul Kraske, Tatiana Monastyrskaya, Ethan Schultz, Sean Shimamoto and William Sweet, as well as counsel Eytan Fisch. Guest speakers included the New York chairman of energy and finance, as well as CEOs, vice presidents, general counsel, managing directors and directors of various energy and financial services companies. The conference was preceded by a reception and dinner on May 9.
