American Conference Institute FCC Boot Camp

Washington, D.C. communications and national security counsel John Beahn participated in American Conference Institute's FCC Boot Camp in San Francisco. The conference examined the expansion of the Universal Service Fund, identified how to comply with the rules surrounding developing telecom businesses in Cuba, explored the future of set-top boxes given the FCC's proposals to encourage competition, and analyzed the network neutrality rules and their impact. On June 28, Mr. Beahn joined a panel discussion titled "FCC Enforcement: Best Practices, Tips, Tricks, and Pitfalls to Avoid." The panel discussed the scope of FCC enforcement authority and how companies should respond to a letter of inquiry.
