Financial institutions M&A partner David Ingles and financial institutions regulation and enforcement head William Sweet participated in "Banking Law Institute 2016," a PLI seminar held December 2 in New York. Mr. Ingles participated in a discussion on M&A in the banking sector, examining overall deal activity and its outlook, community and mid-cap bank M&A, the SIFI (systemically important financial institution) threshold, expansion of cross-sector opportunities, and managing buyer and seller regulatory risk, among other topics. Mr. Sweet, who is co-chair of the event, made introductory remarks.
