Washington, D.C. financial institutions regulation and enforcement partner Eytan Fisch spoke at American Conference Institute’s 10th Annual Advanced Forum on Economic Sanctions Enforcement and Compliance, held April 24-26 in Washington, D.C. Mr. Fisch participated in a panel discussion titled “OFAC Licensing: Experts Take You Through Practical Exercises of How Best to Navigate Licensing Applications.”
The discussion focused on how best to approach U.S. Department of the Treasury Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) licensing applications when the situation is time-sensitive, how to apply when industry practice generally includes a technical violation of OFAC rules and why it is important to analyze the benefit of business dealings when completing applications.
