C5 11th Annual Global Economic Sanctions Conference

Washington, D.C. financial institutions regulation and enforcement partners Jamie Boucher and Eytan Fisch spoke at C5’s “11th Annual Global Economic Sanctions” conference, held May 17-18 in Amsterdam. Ms. Boucher participated in a panel discussion titled “Devising and Implementing Sanctions Investigations Strategy: Practical Tools,” which covered how to deal with regulators, enforcement agencies and prosecutors; what external stakeholders consider a well-run investigation; determining the jurisdictional requirements of investigations; making a case for remediation; and determining costs. Mr. Fish moderated a panel titled “Update From Regulators and Preparing Your Organization for What May Lie Ahead.” The panel covered policy review and top priorities, implications of the Trump presidency on the Iran sanctions regime, diversion between U.S. and EU positions, Brexit, and other topics.
