On April 25, the Energy Regulation and Litigation Group held its 13th Annual Energy Conference in the firm's Washington, D.C. office. Keynote speaker James Danly, general counsel of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), kicked off the conference with an update on FERC. Panelists discussed topics such as price formation, market design, energy markets in the western U.S. and cybersecurity. Skadden speakers included energy regulation and litigation leader John Estes, CFIUS and national security partner Michael Leiter, and energy regulation and litigation counsel Donna Byrne.
