New York intellectual property litigation partner Douglas Nemec and counsel Marti Johnson spoke at PLI’s “Patent Law Institute 2018: Critical Issues and Best Practices,” in San Francisco. Mr. Nemec, who was co-chair of the event, made opening remarks, lead a panel discussion on “The Future of the Patent Law Profession,” and presented a breakout session titled “Litigation — International Patent Litigation: A World Tour of Patent Enforcement.” Ms. Johnson lead a breakout session titled “Litigation — Point Counter-Point: A Patent Practitioner’s Tennis Match With a Judicial Umpire.” Mr. Nemec and Ms. Johnson also participated in the presentation of the same seminar April 5-6 in New York.
