Washington, D.C. health care and life sciences partner John Bentivoglio spoke at the 19th Annual Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Compliance Congress in Washington, D.C. Mr. Bentivoglio moderated a morning plenary session and a summit session titled “Dissecting Recent CIAs and Review of Draft Model CIA,” which focused on recent pharmaceutical and device corporate integrity agreements (CIA) and prompted discussion of a model CIA that would improve the efficiency and effectiveness of compliance controls mandated by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General. Mr. Bentivoglio also gave a speech on “Antitrust Admonition” and moderated a discussion with Assistant U.S. Attorney Gregg Shapiro.
