Washington, D.C. health care and life sciences partner Jennifer Bragg spoke at the Food and Drug Law Institute’s “Enforcement, Litigation and Compliance Conference: For the Drug, Device, Food and Tobacco Industries” in Washington, D.C. on December 12-13. Ms. Bragg led a breakout session titled “REMS as an Enforcement Tool,” which focused on how the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s Risk Evaluation and Mitigation Strategy program has been used as an enforcement tool by the FDA and the Department of Justice and what companies can do to ensure they are complying with their obligations.
