ABA Business Law Section Derivatives and Futures Law Committee Meeting 2019

Washington, D.C. derivatives of counsel Jonathan Marcus chaired a panel on cryptocurrency and blockchain at the ABA Business Law Section’s Derivatives and Futures Law Committee Meeting on January 25 in Naples, Florida. Mr. Marcus led a discussion on cryptocurrency and blockchain developments and regulatory issues, including new crypto and blockchain products, CFTC regulation of cryptocurrencies and crypto-derivatives, the scope of CFTC and SEC jurisdiction over cryptocurrencies, and international regulation.
