Health care and life sciences partners Jennifer Bragg and John Bentivoglio and of counsel Karen Corallo spoke at the Food and Drug Law Institute’s Annual Conference on May 2-3 in Washington, D.C. Ms. Bragg, chair of the board of directors of the Food and Drug Law Institute, introduced the keynote speaker, the acting commissioner of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Mr. Bentivoglio spoke on a panel titled “Focus on Investigations: Government Trends and Best Practices for Internal Investigations,” which focused on the enforcement priorities of the FDA and Department of Justice and best practices for conducting internal investigations. Ms. Corallo spoke on a panel titled “Innovative Medical Product Technologies, Novel Products and FDA Regulation,” which focused on the rise of medical technology innovation and how it relates to FDA regulation, programs and policies.
