On May 8, Skadden held a webinar titled “The Bulk-Power System Executive Order and Its Impact on Energy Transactions.” It focused on an executive order issued by the Trump administration prohibiting the acquisition and installation of “bulk-power system electric equipment” supplied by foreign adversaries and persons subject to their control and establishing the creation of a task force to monitor threats to the U.S. power system from foreign adversaries.
