On September 15, Skadden presented “Recent Developments in International Trade: A Discussion With Former USTR Officials,” a webinar focused on recent events in the international trade sector. Drawing on their experience negotiating the “Phase One Agreement” with China as U.S. Trade Representative officials, Skadden partner Ambassador Jeffrey Gerrish and counsel Brooks Allen addressed how companies can benefit from the pact and navigate the challenging tariff landscape. They also addressed recent developments regarding the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA), EU-U.S. trade and potential new trade agreements with the U.K., Kenya and India.
