10th Annual Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Webinar Series | Part One: A Review of the Past Decade of Government Activity in White Collar Health Care Prosecutions

On November 19, Skadden held “A Review of the Past Decade of Government Activity in White Collar Health Care Prosecutions,” the first part of our “10th Annual Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Webinar Series.” Skadden health care and life sciences partner Michael Loucks and counsel Alexandra Gorman presented our annual update on the government’s activity (and lack thereof) in white collar prosecutions in the health care sector. This session also reviewed the continual decrease of prosecutions over the past decade, analyzing the government’s data on the topic and possible reasons for the decline. Additionally, our panel examined the types of cases the government is choosing to prosecute and offered predictions for the year ahead.
