Washington, D.C. political law partner Ki Hong participated in the 3rd National Forum on the Foreign Agents Registration Act, an American Conference Institute event held on December 9 in Washington, D.C. During a session titled “A Thin Line With Big Consequences for Lobbying and PR Firms: Key Misconceptions About the Lengths and Limits of the LDA Exemption,” Mr. Hong discussed the latest Department of Justice Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) advisory opinions and stance on the limits of the Lobbying Disclosure Act exemption, as well as identified and mitigated situations that could lead to triggering FARA.
