On May 16-17, Skadden hosted its 15th Annual Energy Conference in our Washington, D.C. office. Speakers discussed recent energy regulatory and enforcement updates, provided a look ahead to potential developments in the coming year and reviewed the state of the markets. FERC commissioner James Danly served as keynote speaker. Energy regulatory head John Estes provided opening and closing remarks and participated in each of the conference’s panels. Other Skadden speakers included Supreme Court and appellate litigation head Shay Dvoretzky and Washington, D.C. counsel William Barksdale and associates Kyser Blakely and Juliana Brint.
