Washington, D.C. partner Andrew Lawrence spoke at Investment Management 2022: Current Issues & Trends, a PLI conference held on July 26-27 in New York. Mr. Lawrence presented “Legal Ethics Issues for Investment Management Attorneys.” The session compared and contrasted the SEC Rule of Professional Responsibility for issuer counsel with legal ethics rules, reviewed the Dodd-Frank Act’s implications and examined the role of investment adviser counsel in reporting material violations to fund counsel, among other topics.
