Privacy Security and Risk Conference

On October 5,cybersecurity and data privacy co-head David Simon participated in the panel “The AI Paradox in Cybersecurity” during the International Association of Privacy Professionals’ Privacy Security and Risk Conference. The speakers explored the double-edged nature of AI in cybersecurity and explained how threat actors harness AI to scale attacks, employ deepfakes and orchestrate sophisticated intrusions. The panel also addressed how cybersecurity professionals use AI for predictive threat analysis, incident response enhancement and proactive threat hunting, among other strategies for a future fueled by AI.
