Essentials for Corporate Governance Conference

On January 24, Washington, D.C. SEC reporting and compliance counsel Caroline Kim spoke on the panel “Private Company: Going Public via IPO” during the Society for Corporate Governance’s Essentials for Corporate Governance Conference. The speakers explored various considerations when determining the right next step for a company going public through an IPO, including finance and employee incentive compensation plans, readiness and internal structure, educating executives and directors on securities requirements, preparing for the transition to a broader stockholder base and an overview of listing standards.
