On July 15, Skadden hosted the webinar “Dealing With Political Headwinds in Data Center Development,” which examined the political and regulatory challenges facing data center projects and strategies for effective political engagement. The discussion addressed the growing relevance of political engagement when completing data center projects; effective strategies in this space; and building political engagement infrastructure and legal compliance considerations including Honest Services Fraud, lobbyist registration, pay-to-play and “dark money” laws.
