On July 28, New York firm counsel Julie Turner participated in PLI’s 2026 Ethics and Conflicts of Interest in Law Practice program in New York. The event examined “real-world conflicts of interest scenarios” and “provided practical guidance on how to handle potential conflicts.” Ms. Turner discussed recent decisions and developments in conflicts of interest law, the application of the New York Rules of Professional Conduct and their relationship to the American Bar Association’s Model Rules, conflict identification and waiver strategies, and best practices drawn from ethics and disciplinary opinions.
