Skadden maintains professional indemnity insurance for both its legal and tax advisory practices.  This insurance is provided by Axa Versicherung AG, Colonia Allee 10-20, 51067 Cologne.  The territorial scope of the insurance for the legal practice covers legal advice in the European Union member states and complies with the legal requirements pursuant to sec. 51 of the Federal Lawyers Act (Bundesrechtsanwaltsordnung).  The territorial scope of the insurance for the tax advisor practice covers tax advisory services in Germany and complies with the legal requirements pursuant to the Federal Tax Advisory Act (Steuerberatungsgesetz).
