Katie Barker advises private equity institutions and other private investor clients on a wide range of transactions, including private acquisitions, carve-outs, consortium deals, group restructurings and general corporate matters. Ms. Barker regularly counsels clients on exit planning and co-investment terms, as well as investors’ portfolio companies on bolt-on acquisitions and disposals, restructurings, management incentive schemes and other commercial matters.

  • its significant investment in IFS and WorkWave at a $10 billion valuation
  • the sale of approximately 30% of Intelerad Medical Systems to TA Associates at a $2.1 billion valuation
  • its investment in Revalize at a $1.8 billion valuation in partnership with current investors, TA Associates and the management team

  • the merger of Waterlogic Holdings Limited with Culligan International
  • the sale of a majority stake in Waterlogic to Castik’s single-asset fund, EPIC I-b, and the sale of a significant minority stake in Waterlogic to four institutional investors
