Adria Conklin has more than 20 years of experience advising clients on product liability, mass tort and commercial litigation, as well as other complex disputes.

Bio

Ms. Conklin has counseled and defended multiple Fortune 500 companies at every stage of large-scale product liability litigation. These disputes, which can pose significant risk to clients, often involve claims relating to pharmaceuticals, medical devices and environmental contamination.

She manages defense efforts in multidistrict litigation, advising clients on strategy from early case assessment through trial, and coordinating case management and trial preparation across multiple attorneys and law firms. She has been a member of numerous trial teams that have secured multiple defense verdicts for clients in both state and federal courts.

Ms. Conklin also counsels clients on risk management related to product labeling, adverse event reporting and post-market surveillance obligations. In addition, she advises on risks related to tort claims involving environmental contamination.

Her representative matters prior to joining Skadden include:

  • PFAS Environmental and Product Liability Litigation. Leadership role for a chemical manufacturer managing thousands of claims in state and federal courts, including overseeing and participating in bellwether processes
  • PCB Litigation. Leadership role guiding several cases brought by municipalities alleging contamination claims stemming from chemical exposure
  • Roundup Products Liability Litigation. Member of trial team securing defense verdict in suit claiming personal injuries related to Roundup use
