Melanie B. Emmen

Ms. Emmen has extensive experience in international capital markets and finance transactions. She has advised a broad range of clients, including private equity sponsors, issuers and investment banks, on cross-border private and public debt offerings, acquisition financings and liability management transactions. She also provides clients with extensive knowledge of the leveraged finance and legal functions of global investment banks, having worked for multiple such banks prior to joining Skadden.

Prior to her starting her legal career, Ms. Emmen developed and directed women’s health and economic empowerment initiatives in central Africa.
