Arielle W. Katz
Bio
Ms. Katz joined Skadden after working for nearly two decades at another major law firm, where she represented companies and individuals in a broad range of white collar criminal and regulatory matters, government and internal investigations and complex litigation. During this time, she defended clients in high-stakes regulatory and criminal investigations, trials and related proceedings involving the Department of Justice, Securities and Exchange Commission, Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Financial Industry Regulatory Authority and state attorney general offices, among other regulatory and law enforcement authorities. Ms. Katz advised clients in the U.S. and abroad on sensitive, complicated and often high-profile legal and compliance matters, including allegations of securities and accounting fraud, insider trading, money laundering and violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. Her work also included advising on cybersecurity risks, incident response and artificial intelligence matters.
In recognition of her pro bono work, Ms. Katz has received The Legal Aid Society’s Publico Award.
Ms. Katz also previously worked for the National Hockey League, where she assisted in the production of the NHL All-Star Game.
