Gurjot Kaur advises financial sponsors, public and private acquirers, target companies and investment banks on a variety of U.S. and cross-border corporate matters. She counsels on mergers, acquisitions, carve-outs, spin-offs, financial advisor engagements and other corporate representations, including corporate governance, private equity and securities law matters.
Ms. Kaur has experience representing clients in a variety of industries in a wide range of transactions, including:
- Devon Energy in its proposed $58 billion acquisition of Coterra Energy
- BlackRock in its $12 billion acquisition of HPS Investment Partners and $12.5 billion acquisition of Global Infrastructure Partners
- Duck Creek Technologies in its $2.6 billion acquisition by funds managed by Vista Equity Partners
- Dell Technologies, Inc. in its $4 billion sale of Boomi to Francisco Partners and TPG
- WeWork Inc. in its $9 billion de-SPAC business combination with BowX Acquisition Corp.
- Royal Gold Inc. in its $3.5 billion stock-for-stock acquisition of Sandstorm Gold Ltd. and concurrent $200 million all-cash acquisition of Horizon Copper Corp.
