Ashley Whelan Keating advises clients on the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) and secured transactions. She focuses on personal property law, with a special emphasis on issues arising under Article 8 (investment securities) and Article 9 (secured transactions) of the UCC.

Bio

Ms. Keating regularly counsels clients on commercial law and personal property transfer issues in connection with bilateral and syndicated senior credit facilities, subordinated secured credit facilities, acquisition financings, secured note offerings, project financings, receivables purchase facilities and real estate transactions. She also advises on the structure and documentation of secured transactions across a range of collateral classes.

In recognition of her work, Ms. Keating has been named one of Best Lawyers’ Ones To Watch in America. She has also advised on pro bono matters and has assisted individuals with asylee status in applying for green cards.
