Bio

Amit Liran represents public and private companies, financial institutions and private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies in a variety of transactions, including U.S. and cross-border mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, investments, auctions, joint ventures and securities offerings, as well as corporate governance, compliance and a variety of other commercial and contractual matters.

Notable representations include:

  • Scopely, Inc. in multiple matters, including its:
    • $4.9 billion acquisition by Savvy Games Group
    • $1 billion acquisition of GSN Games, Inc. from Sony Pictures Corporation
    • investment in a Ukraine-based business
  • Mobileye Global Inc. in its $1 billion IPO and concurrent private placement
  • Hg in numerous matters, including its acquisitions of Riskalyze, Inc. and GTreasury
  • Via Transportation in its acquisition of Citymapper Limited
  • HPS Investment Partners in its investment, alongside CVC Capital Partners, in Authentic Brands Group at a $12.7 billion valuation
  • a portfolio company of Crimson Investment in connection with the sale of the company
  • a technology company in its $900 million venture capital round

In addition, Mr. Liran maintains an active pro bono practice and has represented several nonprofit organizations in their formations and governance and compliance issues, including the American Jewish University in various corporate governance matters.

Prior to his legal career, Mr. Liran gained experience in the military, business, marketing and sales fields.
