Thomas D. Logan focuses on energy and infrastructure-related project development and financing, and corporate transactions.

Bio

Mr. Logan has extensive experience representing developers, lenders and investors in all aspects of project development and financing, including concessions, power sales, fuel supply and transportation, construction, ownership structuring, and equity and debt financing. He has worked on a wide range of energy-related and infrastructure transactions both internationally and in the United States, including electric generating stations fueled by gas, oil, solid waste and alternative fuels; pipelines; oil and gas concessions; toll roads; airport concessions; passenger tunnels; and industrial facilities. Mr. Logan also has provided advice in a variety of energy-related financings, including vendor financings and financings secured by complex collateral packages. In the corporate finance area, Mr. Logan has represented clients in private sales and acquisitions of project assets, private placement financings, and the placement of public and private debt offerings.

He has advised numerous sponsors and developers of energy and infrastructure projects, including on the First Solar DOE projects and the Istanbul strait passenger tunnel project. Mr. Logan also counsels clients in renewable energy and infrastructure projects with an emphasis on the development of solar projects and industrial facilities.

Prior to relocating to the New York office, Mr. Logan was based in the London office and before that was based in Hong Kong, where he worked on a wide range of energy and infrastructure-related project financings in Europe, the Middle East, China and Southeast Asia. While in London, Mr. Logan advised ENEL Maritza East 3 AD in relation to the refurbishment and expansion of its power production operations in Bulgaria. He also advised a Middle East concern in connection with the grant of a concession for the development of oil and gas fields. In Hong Kong, Mr. Logan represented numerous sponsors and developers on power and pipeline projects in Thailand, the Philippines, Guam and Malaysia, including the 1,000 MW First Gas project in the Philippines.

Mr. Logan has been included in Chambers Global: The World’s Leading Lawyers for Business and Chambers UK and in Who’s Who Legal: Project Finance 2015 as a leading practitioner in the field.
