Bio

Peter Marshall represents institutional and noninstitutional investors, operators, developers, management companies, borrowers and lenders, landlords and tenants, REITs, limited partners and general partners, sovereign wealth funds, pension funds and private equity funds in a wide variety of commercial real estate transactions. Mr. Marshall regularly advises on the acquisition, disposition, development, leasing, management, financing, refinancing and general operations of commercial property across the United States.

He has extensive experience organizing and managing the dealmaking process from letter of intent review and negotiation through to closing and beyond. Among other work, he drafts and negotiates purchase and sale agreements, leases, construction contracts, management agreements, joint venture agreements and loan documents, in addition to liaising with title officers, escrow agents and opposing counsel to coordinate smooth closings.

Mr. Marshall maintains a diverse pro bono practice, focusing mainly on real estate and immigration-related representations. He also counsels clients on issues involving litigation, employment, corporate and bankruptcy/restructuring law, among other areas.
