Young K. Moon focuses on mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and other corporate and securities matters.

Ms. Moon has advised, among others:

  • Hospira, Inc. in its $17 billion acquisition by Pfizer Inc.;
  • Cardinal Health in its $6.1 billion acquisition of Medtronic’s patient product portfolio;
  • WEC Energy Group, Inc. in its:
    • acquisition of the Forward Wind Energy Center; and
    • $5.7 billion acquisition of Integrys Energy Group, Inc.;
  • InvenTrust Properties in its $1.41 billion sale of its student housing platform, University House, to a joint venture that includes Scion and CPPIB;
  • Imaging Advantage LLC in its acquisition by Envision Healthcare Corporation;
  • Dürr AG, a major German industrial machinery group, in connection with its $130 million acquisition of Babcock & Wilcox Enterprises Inc.’s industrial environmental technology business;
  • Huron Consulting Group in various acquisitions, including its:
    • $112 million sale of Huron Legal to Consilio;
    • acquisition of My Rounding Solutions;
    • acquisition of ADI Strategies; and
    • acquisition of Pope Woodhead and Associates Limited;
  • The Middleby Corporation in various transactions, including its acquisition of The Globe Food Equipment Holding Corporation; and
  • Ecolab, Inc., Ball Corporation and AutoNation, Inc. in several debt offerings.
