Bio

Ms. Pruitt has served as lead trial counsel and on national trial teams for pharmaceutical, medical device and other companies in some of the largest and first-of-their-kind cases in the United States, including bellwether trials and multidistrict litigation matters.

She has also represented Fortune 500 companies in consumer class action and toxic tort litigation. Her class action practice includes class certification strategy, briefing and argument at all levels — including representing a defendant insurance company in the first class action case decided by the U.S. Supreme Court concerning Class Action Fairness Act (CAFA) jurisdiction.

A fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, Ms. Pruitt has tried over 60 trials to verdict — securing defense verdicts in product liability, medical malpractice and other complex cases — and obtained numerous other favorable resolutions. Clients regularly turn to Ms. Pruitt for her strategic guidance in developing and preparing narratives for bellwether trials.
