Giuseppe Tantulli advises clients on EU, Italian and international antitrust aspects of mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures. He has been involved in several high-profile and complex merger control cases in transactions requiring international antitrust merger control approvals, both in Europe and around the world.
Mr. Tantulli also regularly advises clients in cartels, including on immunity or leniency applications, and other Article 101 TFEU proceedings, as well as EU and Italian competition law issues relating to vertical restraints and dominance. He has represented clients in Article 101 TFEU investigations both before the European Commission and the Italian Competition Authority.
Mr. Tantulli’s recent experience includes advising on the following transactions:
Becton, Dickinson and Company on the sale of its Respiratory Solutions business to funds advised by Apax Partners;
HP Inc. on its acquisition of Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd’s printer business; and
Konecranes Plc in connection with its acquisition of Terex Corporation’s material handling and port solutions business unit.
Prior to joining Skadden, Mr. Tantulli trained in other leading international law firms in Italy and in Brussels and also worked as a research assistant in antitrust and trade law at Columbia Law School in New York.
