Eva Valik represents underwriters, financial institutions, banks, borrowers and investors in both public offerings and private placements of a variety of structured finance securities.


Ms. Valik has experience with transactions involving mortgage-backed pass-through certificates backed by home equity, single-family and commercial mortgage loans. She also has worked on numerous CDO and CLO transactions. In addition, Ms. Valik has experience with asset-backed transactions utilizing nontraditional asset classes, such as life annuities. She participated in the structuring and development of a new exchange-traded product that referenced the value of commodities and housing indices and other macroeconomic indicators. Ms. Valik also has acted as counsel to traditional ETFs. She has assisted with mergers and acquisitions and lending transactions in which a significant portion of the underlying assets or collateral consisted of structured finance securities.
