Chuck Walker is co-chair of Skadden’s global Pro Bono Committee. Previously, he was co-chair of the firm’s Litigation Group in the Washington, D.C. office, where he represented individuals and corporations in investigations by the Securities and Exchange Commission, the U.S. Department of Justice and other agencies.

Bio

Mr. Walker joined Skadden’s New York office in 1984. He later served as special counsel in the SEC General Counsel’s Office, as a deputy attorney general for the state of Delaware and Delaware’s securities commissioner. He returned to Skadden in its Washington, D.C. office in 1999. During his tenure as a partner, Mr. Walker was a member of the firm’s Ethics and Diversity committees. In addition, he formerly served as a member of the board of directors of the Washington Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights and Urban Affairs, and as a member of the New York City Bar Association’s Committee on Civil Rights.
