Siemens Medical to Acquire Dade Behring in Tie-up of Medical Supply Manufacturers

Skadden is representing Dade Behring, Inc. with the antitrust aspects of its approximately US$7 billion acquisition via a tender offer by Siemens Medical Solutions Group, a subsidiary of Siemens AG (Germany). The transaction was announced on July 25. Both Dade Behring and Siemens Medical Solutions are manufacturers of medical supplies.
