Skadden Advising Her Majesty's Treasury on U.S. Tax Implications of U.K. Tax Reform Proposals

Skadden is representing Her Majesty's Treasury in revising certain U.K. tax reform proposals. The revisions in question are intended to make the tax reform less onerous for U.S. citizens resident in the United Kingdom, who are also taxed in the United States. The firm's 20-page memorandum to Her Majesty's Treasury outlining our analysis and conclusions was made public on March 12.
