NFL Prevails in Videotaping Lawsuit

Skadden obtained a victory for the National Football League in a lawsuit related to the New England Patriots' alleged videotaping of New York Jets coaches and players during a game at Giants Stadium. On March 23, Chief District Judge Garrett E. Brown agreed with the NFL and the Patriots and dismissed the lawsuit. Judge Brown held that the plaintiff received exactly that for which he paid – the right to view an NFL football game at Giants stadium – and that he could not maintain an action based on his subjective expectations about the fairness of the game.
