Skadden lawyers advised on the successful restructuring of British Vita, a TPG portfolio company. The Luxembourg-based client, now named Vita Group, is composed of multiple manufacturing companies in 20 countries and produces polymers for a range of industrial applications.
In a new legal development, Skadden lawyers devised an English law scheme of arrangement to restructure the debt of a Luxembourg company, and through it, the group debt. Following several meetings with creditors, held at Skadden's London office, the UK High Court of Justice approved the restructuring on April 22.
