Skadden Authors Publish New Guides on Current Issues

Skadden authors have written two new books on current issues affecting businesses in today’s economic environment.

Boston health care enforcement and litigation partner Michael Loucks has co-authored the second edition of Prosecuting and Defending Health Care Fraud Cases, a guide to health care fraud investigations and prosecutions and difficult medical, regulatory, and law enforcement issues. Mr.Loucks is the former Acting U.S. Attorney and First Assistant U.S. Attorney for the District of Massachusetts.

New York executive compensation and benefits partner Regina Olshan and associate Erica Schohn have authored the Section 409A Handbook, a guide published by BNA Books on designing nonqualified deferred compensation arrangements to avoid Tax Code Section 409A penalties. The handbook is designed to help practitioners navigate Section 409A's broad scope, extensive and complicated regulations, and myriad corollary rules and unresolved issues.
