Skadden was involved in two restructurings that were recognized at The M&A Advisor’s 5th Annual Turnaround Awards on March 9. The prepackaged bankruptcy of firm client Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer won a Sector Deal of the Year for Media, Entertainment or Telecom; and the Chapter 11 corporate restructuring of LyondellBasell, in which Skadden represented holding company Access Industries, won a Sector Deal of the Year award for Industrial Goods and Basic Resources.
