Skadden represented Ecolab, a leader in the infection protection health care industry, throughout the Federal Trade Commission's four-month investigation of Ecolab's proposed acquisition of O.R. Solutions (ORS), a medical device company. On March 2, the FTC informed Skadden that it concluded its investigation without further action; as a result, Ecolab and ORS closed the transaction without limitations.
