Skadden is representing the AES Corporation, a Fortune 500 global power company with generation and distribution businesses, in its acquisition of DPL Inc., a regional energy company. The deal, which is worth $4.7 billion on an enterprise value basis, was announced on April 20. This is the second-largest utility deal announced to date in 2011.
